Our client, a growing Multi Academy Trust, is looking to recruit an experienced Regional ICT Manager based in the Norfolk area with regular travel to Trust sites. Working directly with your nominated academies, 2 secondary and 3 primaries, the postholder will provide leadership for the onsite school ICT staff as well as ensure that an effective customer focused IT service is being delivered.

 

This role will interface between the central ICT Team and the academies to facilitate a quick resolution of technical issues in addition to managing budgets, key systems and leading on ICT projects.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent ICT knowledge, a range of management skills and will work flexibly across sites in order to meet the individual schools’ needs.

 

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a full, clean UK driving license as well as have access to their own vehicle.

 

Requirements;

 

Experience working within a Network/IT Support role at a senior level

Some People mangement experience

Administering networks, reviewing system logs, backup/AV checks and general updates

Managing service requests using helpdesk systems

Microsoft Server and Operation Systems

TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs

Antivirus, Security principles, backups, general printing, Active Directory & Group Policy

 

Desirable;

Previously worked within the Education Sector

Microsoft qualifications or similar

ITIL framework or FITS, supported by an ITIL V2 Foundation/FITS Practitioner

Office 365 Apps (Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams, Forms, OneNote)

Experience with school based systems and software (SIMS, ParentPay etc)

Working experience of chromebooks and Apple products

Mobile Device Management (MDM), Web Filtering Systems (SmoothWall)

SCCM – Windows & Application Deployment, Anti-Virus management

Network switches, VoIP services, VMWare
