kidpressingbuttons Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 we recently bought a Unifi UDM Pro to manage our new fleet of unifi 48 port switches. All brand new. The UDM has been a problem since day one. We can set it up and configure it but when we adopt switches it will sometimes adopt them after an age or will just sit in an endless adopting/disconnecting loop. When we have been able to adopt the switches drop out and say adopting again. No reason for it. Switches are plugged directly into the UDM so not a cabling issue... Anyone have any suggestions? Unifi tried telling me the issue was that have EOL APs.... Not evening looking to manage those on this UDM as I know we cant.

Personally I'd just install the controller on a VM and use that We have found the controller software isn’t as reliable. We have one site on ac pros which have guest access and we also have some of the camera so the UDM pro was a no brainier for the cost
AJWhite1970 Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Shot in the dark, is the time correct on the UDM? UniFi controllers get very cross if they can’t get out to a NTP server… 3
