IT SUPPORT ENGINEER – SUTTON

UP TO £25,000 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE – 1 YEAR CONTRACT

 

Our client, a well established local managed service provider, is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their existing team supporting a number of Primary Schools, Small Business’ and charities in and around the Sutton, Croydon, South West London and North Surrey areas.

 

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the Education Sector, along with relevant technical experience will be essential for this position.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality 1^st and 2^nd line support as part of the existing Field team, carrying out fault diagnosis on site and remotely, rectifying faults, ensuring all items are logged correctly via the service desk as well as ensuring users receive timely updates and feedback whilst working on their requests.

 

Candidates must have a full, clean driving license and access to their own vehicle to be considered for this role.

 

Requirements:

· Previously worked within an IT technician or Support role, preferably within the Education Sector

· 1^st and 2^nd line IT Support

· Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP

· Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and above

· Office 365 / Google Workspace / G Suite

· Basic network and WiFi equipment

· Experience documenting technical procedures, infrastructures and system configuration

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain things in a non-technical way
