[2004, 20h2] Drive Map not mapping for 1 user

Hello,

 

Got a odd one here. I have 1 user who cant map a "I" drive on there new laptop. (Win 10 20H2)

 

I have reset the profile and checked settings and they all look fine. Everyone else who has access to this share works.

 

Event log claims it cant find the path. I can browse this share fine. Just this one time it decides it cant map the share. This is a DFS Share. As said it works for everyone else in the group.

 

The user 'I:' preference item in the Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070035 The network path was not found.' This error was suppressed.

 

Any ideas?

Does it work for everyone else in the group on that laptop? That is, could it be a machine issue, not a user issue? Is the firewall correct?

Can you map it manually when logged in as the user? Does the drive appear in the list of mapped drives when you run net use in cmd?
