Contract for 1 year in the first instance

We are seeking a Digital Learning Support Technician to work at our fantastic school in NW (Greater) London. We’re an outstanding SEND High School for students with a broad range of complex learning difficulties and have a unique curriculum offer with accredited courses at KS4 including a Digital Project. We’re developing our school radio as a student run business and have a digital suite of rooms including a large green screen space. Our digital project students are ‘employed’ as Digital Leaders and will shadow the technician role at times throughout the year. Our digital vision has transformed the direction that the school is heading and we will begin our ‘fully digital’ transformation from September with a 1:1 device rollout.

Primarily we’re looking for a very able technician to take ownership of day-to-day management of systems and tech support but the role has some scope to expand and develop moving forwards. Unusually (and correctly) for a secondary school, the position will be 100% directed from within the digital team under the leadership of the Head of Department. This ensures that all technology is driven by pedagogy and our teaching and learning vision - not admin or closed mindset thinking.
