I'm having issues with bluetooth on a Chromebook. We've got a data logger and I know the bluetooth is working because it connects to my Pixel phone.

But the managed Chromebook (brand new HP 15 G6) finds no devices. I've tried tethering to my phone too just incase the school WiFi is somehow blocking it.

I've tried another Chromebook (a brand new Samsung) and that can't find the logger either.

I can't find anything in the GSuite admin to suggest Bluetooth wouldn't work.

Any ideas?

The Bluetooth stack on Chromebook is a little flaky. It works great with things like keyboards, mice and audio but for certain other devices it doesn't seem to be particularly stable.

I read this somewhere else, but unstable would suggest it should work at least some of the time??
