nicholab Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I hate the new meeting experience in Teams were a new windows pops out it seem like MS don't care and at some point will force this on you. Anyone else feel the same?
paulkerton Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Well of course they will push it as the default eventually. You can't stay static forever as a developer and have to make choices in regards to your UX.
nicholab Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 But having a extra windows opening is not helpful as I find that you can lose the hang up button. Also it seem to break internal transfers of call to hunt groups.
bald_pig Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 The separate window makes life so much easier to refer back to messages, discuss options privately during meetings etc. I found it much harder to get back to the meeting with the old system.
nicholab Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 I can understand it in a meeting but in a call it can be a pain. If I need to close teamviewer and hand up the call I found myself losing the hand up button something also breaking PSTN to call queue/hunt group is not great.
