TMBS Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Hi everyone We have a year 9 options evening coming up soon so looking into alternative 'virtual' options. We use Google Meet so could have Meet sessions but would like to be able to limit the number of parents in a session, which you can't do in Meet. I know you can deny but it would become frustrating after a while. We also use School Cloud Parents Evening but having spoke to them you can't open it up to groups. What is everyone else doing? We'd like to be able to have three sessions per department with a maximum of 15 parents in each video conference. Thanks

Then use the Q&A tools in Google Slides or a Google Form to take questions from people and have a Q&A session at the end. Are parents accessing Meets via their child? You can do internal streams if you have what's currently called Enterprise! 1

You can do internal streams if you have what's currently called Enterprise! We only have the free (Fundamentals) version so no option to stream... I like the idea of Q&A in Slides/Forms though! Another option I thought of was to set up Department Google Classrooms, session 1, 2, 2 and use a Google Form to guage parental interest, collect emails and email them the code to the room. You could answer questions in the stream, or use the Meet link.
