steven_layton_sl Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 I am trying to get my InTune for Education / Endpoint Manager managed Windows 10 laptops to work 100% with Smoothwall CLoud filter. I am 99% of the way there, and just need some final help. The directory mapping (https://help.smoothwall.net/FilterFirewall/Content/4Services/1Authentication/2Directories/7AzureAD/Add.htm), looks like it is working.... ....and I have deployed the Chromium Edge Cloud Filter extention and Powershell script out to my stations via Endpoint Manager. The user I am testing is a member of one of the AD groups that is mapped to a Smoothwall local group. However, my user is only being filtered by the baseline filtering, and not via the staff filter policy. When I browse to "Smoothwall://" and go to the Diasgnosics the "Directory Groups" panel is empty and the "Group Mappings" shows only "Default User". Any ideas?
Mako Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Hi Steve, Coincidentally, trying to deploy the Cloud Filter today to some new laptops (we don't have InTune Deployment and have to do it manually). Everything was working fine before Christmas. I've come to deploy it today and I'm only being mapped to "Default User". I know the client is communicating, because if I login locally, it can't find the user, and if I browse sites and look at the real-time log, it can find my policies/categories. It's as if something isn't pulling in the mappings. There's been a lot happening as I notice there was a Leeds-44 update this week, and also the latest Chrome has broken quite a few things. I know this doesn't help but it seems fishy we're having a similar issue, wheras it has been working fine.
