IT Technician - Stamford Lincolnshire - Circa £22k - Closes 19/02/21

Are you passionate about technology? Want to make a difference supporting technology in education? Then here at Stamford we have an exciting opportunity to join our technical support team.

 

As the Schools’ progress in becoming a leader in the application of IT to support teaching and learning, we are seeking to appoint an IT Technician into our team operating across our three sites, initially with a primary base at Stamford School. The Schools have several exciting projects over the next 12 months, including 1-2-1 devices in our senior schools and a refresh of our switch and wireless infrastructure across all our sites.

 

This role would suit an experienced technical expert with experience in the education sector although desirable but not essential. However, applicants must have a good understanding of IT technologies and at least 3 years’ previous experience in supporting end-users.

 

The post is for 52 weeks of the year, 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain qualifications in Microsoft and cyber related technologies to provide development and progression within the role.
