I have got MRBS up and running very easily but there doesn't seem to be a way of putting holidays (half term, etc) in. Has anyone managed this? Seems to be the only thing lacking in it.

Thanks

There isn't a way. I spent a long time working out a process in Access to convert our CMIS timetable to unique lesson events for a year in MRBS and this did remove holidays. I'm happy to share what I found out with you (drop me a PM) but it's a long way from being a finished system. Ideally I wanted to make it as simple as "Upload CSV-output MYSQL table data" but I haven't got the time or skills to accomplish that at present! It would be great if you or others wanted to build on

There are other options, such as Webman's CRBS, which take holidays into account. MRBS seems to display bookings across a very large site better however (in my view), which is why CRBS couldn't do what we needed. If you only want to use it for ICT rooms it looks great.

On a similar line - anyone know how I would get Room Timetables from SIMS .net (Nova?) out and import them into MRBS?

If anyone finds a bulk import solution could I have it too.

Thanks.

And me please :)

As for holidays...

We work on a 2 week rota and i had a problem with half terms in that when we returned the system was a week out. I managed to get the sql to move all bookings forward 1 week from the start of half term. I just ran that for each half term. PM me for the code if thats helpful to anyone.

That was always the problem I had with MRBS as we run a 2 week timetable.

We only use online booking for 3 ict suites and 1 trolley of laptops so CRBS was the perfect solution for me.
