Hi

I have this really wierd intermtittent problem whereby the Microphone part of a USB cam stops working through Google classroom, but was all tested ok and running before (in fact mic wont work on any other app) reboot doesnt solve it, only way is to either add another USB mic or change the webcam (same model) .. then it works

Taking the Webcam that was thought faulty to another PC, works fine...

These are the models we bought that are simialer:

There is a privacy setting in Windows 10 that has caused this problem for me. If you open the Windows 10 settings app and search Microphone Privacy there might be something there.

Thank you, we have a GPO that forces privacy settings to allow, but something funky going on maybe... (it works then suddenly doesn't .. will test Google Meet on a different browser in case its a rogue chrome update... will also test a different brand of webcam too
