PANIC - You're missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams for

Hi,

Can anyone help with this... getting it for students at present and one needs it for an interview.

We don't use it usually, I've allowed staff access by just assigning a license to them which I've done for students but it keeps saying

[h=1]You're missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams for[/h]I've allowed guest access too. I assigned the license yesterday so should be there now and is showing up.

Any help would be great

If signing in - they will need the free license and I think its the Office 365 A1 for students or the A1 for faculty. Guest access should work if you've enabled it and doesn't require to sign in.

In the license section of 365 admin centre you can view the specific apps they have access to. Microsoft Teams should be there.

It can take time to assign though once you've ticked the boxes.

Without exchange licenses pupils won't have a calendar within Teams, its not the end of the world. We went through lockdown without it but have now implemented mailboxes for all so that they can follow their timetables without us having to give them complex instructions.

Everything is switched on, I've got a teacher vs a student account side by side and one works the other says its not switched on.

3 minutes till the interview!!

Is the interview with someone on a remote system? if so you should be able to connect to that without setting your end up

If needs be run the device from a 3/4g connection to bypass firewall
