naz1 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 On the Ricoh MFD screen copiers it keeps pop-up ' Registering device ". This issue appear every 30 mins. The issue was present to upgrade to papercut. I'm current using Papercut version: 20.0.4 and Ricoh copiers. I am getting this warning in system logs every 30 mins on server logs when the papercut issue appear. Event ID 36886 No suitable default server credential exists on this system. This will prevent server applications that expect to make use of the system default credentials from accepting SSL connections. An example of such an application is the directory server. Applications that manage their own credentials, such as the internet information server, are not affected by this.I have already installed SSL certificate in Active Directory Certificate Services and it still has 2 years date on the certificate. Any help would be appreciated.
MatthewL Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Have you got the Ricoh device in question to connect via HTTPS rather than HTTP? Does it need a certificate on the actual copier? Has the IP address of the copier changed also? I've never used Ricoh but on Sharp you enter the application URL in the web interface, is that the same in Ricoh, are there duplicate copies of the device, have you deleted and readded back on the device?
