Rackenford Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Dear World I have a situation with pupils logging on to laptops in a primary and the Google EU GDPR Acceptance of search agreement type-thing. Every time the children use Google to search the web they are persisted to agree to the ruling powers that be. I am running W10 2004 and have binned roaming profiles. Is there any way in the Google GPO's or any other way whereby I can stop this happening every time? Thanking you all for any assistance in this matter and wishing you all an isolated Christmas. Covid is not just for Christmas........... Feliz Navidad
paulkerton Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Are you blocking cookies? Accepting the agreement should place a cookie on the device to stop this from happening. 1
Rackenford Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 I will check. I have adopted all the GPO's from this site from a SCOMIS set-up so I am constantly pulling at threads. Thanks
mavhc Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Does this happen on the same computer? Pupil A logs into Computer 1, loads chrome, searches, agrees to pointless legal stuff. Logs off Logs into Computer 1 again on another day. Do they have to agree again? 1
Rackenford Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Apologies for delay. Been of the radar. Yes, I am informed thusly. I have yet to visit site and test comprehensively. I was put out feelers for ideas so that when I go in tomorrow, I may have a few ideas.
