autocomplete emails in g suite

Is there a setting somewhere in admin console for this ?

 

e.g. when teachers wants to invite another teacher to a class in google classroom

currently they have to type the whole email address manually

 

(which seems to cause them issues (fat fingers?) )

 

Surely autocomplete should be the default e.g. after you've typed first few chars of email?

There is also a filtering firewall whitelist that will block or allow autocomplete from working on some Google Apps but not others. I have no idea which one it was as we needed to whitelist a long list of addresses and one of those made auto complete work for all services.

 

Google have a list of addresses to whitelist somewhere.
