Gmail App Showing Deleted Messages

Hello,

 

I have had this issue for a few weeks. I have tided my Gmail inbox on my computer using then web interface.

 

On the Gmail app on my iPhone it still shows messages that I have archived or deleted. New messages appear. If I delete on the iPhone they disappear from both the Gmail app and web Interface. So it doesn’t seem like sync is fully broken.

 

Does anyone have any ideas please?
