Required for January 2021, IT Technician, full time, permanent, all year round.

The Deepings School is on the border of South Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. The IT team currently consists of the IT Systems Manager, IT Technician and an Assistant IT Technician.

The working pattern will be arranged to meet the needs of the school but core hours will cover the school day. Annual leave will usually be taken during school holiday periods.

Main duties:

• Maintain school sever systems including VMWare, Windows Server, SQL, Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services, Print Management, Telecoms, MIS, Cashless Catering.
  
• Maintain school infrastructure including Network Switches, Wireless Access Points.
  
• Maintain client operating systems for a positive end user experience whilst maintaining security.
  
• Installation and maintenance of IT hardware.
  
• Provide IT technical support and guidance for staff via a helpdesk and support our students with their use of IT.
  
• Oversee the asset tracking system, ensuring data integrity and asset security.
  
• Escalate issues where appropriate.
