Displaying Documents in EduLink

Hi,

 

Does anyone using EduLink have any fixes to display only certain Individual Reports to parents? In Insight, we could tick by name so had control over which ones were displayed, but I want to upload an internal document and there is no obvious way to stop this showing to parents. In wondered if anyone had managed a workaround?

You don't need a workaround, in the admin you can determine exactly what documents are available - under Documents in the admin, "document types" for learners, employees and parents - go through and tick what should be available, untick what shouldnt

Sorry I many not have been clear, you can say yes or no to doc types which I have done, of which Individual report is one type. We have some new individual reports though that we wish to display to staff only and it seems you cannot drill down beyond Doc type.

Yes - if those documents shouldn't be public, then they should not be in said doc type. If you're worried about confidentiality, bear in mind you are obliged to make them available to the parents upon request regardless.
