Hello again.

I have a few issues with Outlook 2016 on a few users computers. Every so often it will freeze and get a pop up saying "Outlook is trying to get data from Exchange" (Message along those lines)

This is happening at multiple sites. All are on SWGfL but 1 is on FTTC (70/20) and other 2 are on 100/100 fibre line.

GP is set so outlook is connected to Exchange online.

I have tested cache mode but gave up after an hour as it was still trying to pull emails down....

Is anyone else having problems with Outlook and Exchange Online?

You need to have cached mode turned on. On a fast connection it will work most of the time, but you are exposed to the performance of the exchange server. i've used otherwise unused private gig link to O365 and that behaves the same.

Consider reducing the number of days cached or if roaming is an issue use fslogix

Ah, That's makes sense. It left the cached mode set at its default. (1 year) Annoyingly the user I tested it has a big mailbox + shared mailboxes.

Both sites don't roam appdata. (Just the normal stuff - Desktop, Docs etc)
