robbie-w Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Hello, We are having a problem with our wireless and has been ongoing throughout the year. We use Aerohive/Extreme AP630-650 and 305C and HP/Aruba switches. We use eduroam as our SSID backed up by a Windows Radius Server. The problem we are having is that when a client connects they sometimes end up with an IP from the core network. This more often than not occurs on mobile phones or tablets. The ExtremeCloud will show the device on the correct VLAN(150) but the switch will show the user on VLAN 1. In terms of port settings, each AP switch port is set as a trunk with untagged vlan 1 and tagged vlan 150 I have plugged myself into a switch that demonstrates the problem as untagged VLAN150, I get the correct IP and doing a DHCP discover can only see the correct DHCP server. I'm at a bit of a loss with it. Would any downstream switches effect things? They all have the correct tagging To add to the mystery our old Ruckus system also does the same. Any thoughts, suggestions or additional troubleshooting methods would appreciated Thanks Robbie
MatthewL Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 On your wireless controller have you got that SSID to tag traffic with vlan 150?
