Goddard Park, a growing Primary Academy which has been classified as ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, is looking to appoint an outstanding Lead ICT Technician to support our staff in delivering high quality learning. As a large, innovative School we are constantly seeking to enable our children to be the very best they can be. Providing excellent ICT facilities and support is essential in realising this ambition.

 

Your primary role will be to ensure the maintenance, availability and security of the school’s network, hardware and software in accordance with curriculum and administrative requirements. You will also provide support and guidance to pupils and staff in the use of ICT in a predominately Apple environment.

 

The Lead ICT Technician will also provide development and line management for our ICT Apprentice and provide ICT support for another local school (5 hours per week).

 

The successful applicant will be educated to NVQ 3 level (or equivalent industry recognised qualifications) in a relevant subject area. Experience of network management and school experience would be beneficial.

 

You will have personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and humour and be able to communicate well with both adults and children.
