Capita SIMS Teacher App running off a P2P Server?

Hi

 

Got a primary school we look after only 2 admin staff work there so they are using a P2P server to run SIMS off,

 

Too expensive for them to down the route of buying a Dedicated box

 

They want the teachers to access SIMS in the classroom, was thinking initially of using SOLUS but they have around 7 classrooms and it may cause performance issues on the P2P server (Currently running w10/8GB ram)

 

Does anyone know if Teacher app would work better? Rather than Pushing the full SIMS client to the class machines, Heard its lightweight and just runs off using the API?

 

Anyone have any experiences?
