How to roll back Promethean 500 series firmware update - Board is bricked!

I updated the firmware on a Promethean 587 board to v8.63, then to v8.65 (as per advice on the Promethean site). I can now no longer see the board in ActivManager as a connection (via USB). I'd like to reset to factory, or try installing the updates again, but can't see how. Any advice gratefully received!!

if this is for the HID firmware update to resolve the BSOD issue with windows 10 1903 or higher its expected im told as the promethean driver software is no longer needed on the pc, and you should use the windows 10 calibration tool going forward.
