Zabbix & Smoothwall

Hi,

 

I am in the process of setting up Zabbix and thought it would be quite nice to see the firewall inbound and outbound usage, does anyone do this as i cant get SNMP working at present.

You need to set the community string in the SNMP section of system - services - snmp and then open up the snmp port on the internal interface you want your snmp server to talk to on the smoothwall in networking - firewall - smoothwall access.

Did you ever find a template to apply to smoothwall for zabbix?

The snmp software used in Smoothwall is from Net-SNMP - I think we just use the base MIB files from that project.
