I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but just in case there is a glimmer or hope...

 

A computer has had it's partition deleted and then has been completely rebuilt from a WDS image. Is there any type of free software that would have a chance of recovering anything from prior to the partition being binned? I'm guessing not...?

I have used recuva in the past with about a 50/50 percent of getting data back.

Well I'm on site tomorrow morning and I've just pulled the installer for all 22 of these ready:

At the very least if it can detect the stuff and it then comes at a small cost, we can probably live with that. Free is better though.

You will not find better than EaseUS and Recuva. I vouch for both.
