T_Lister Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but just in case there is a glimmer or hope... A computer has had it's partition deleted and then has been completely rebuilt from a WDS image. Is there any type of free software that would have a chance of recovering anything from prior to the partition being binned? I'm guessing not...?
r0cketbev Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I have used recuva in the past with about a 50/50 percent of getting data back. https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva
mrstrong Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Also could try EaseUS, not free but may be worth it ?
T_Lister Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Well I'm on site tomorrow morning and I've just pulled the installer for all 22 of these ready: https://www.lifewire.com/free-data-recovery-software-tools-2622893 At the very least if it can detect the stuff and it then comes at a small cost, we can probably live with that. Free is better though.
elyera Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 You will not find better than EaseUS and Recuva. I vouch for both.
