detjo Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Scenario: In one building is two different business owned by the same people. There is two different servers - one for each business. Jane is logged into Company-A and Peter is logged into Company-B. How do I install a print server that will allow both Companies to use? (It’s unknown if the servers have entirely different IP address networks)
bwestlake Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Do you have two separate print servers? If so just add the printers to both, doesn’t matter if they’re on separate networks as long as they can communicate. Once they’ve been added just deploy them with GPO
robyholmes Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Does the printer have USB as well as networking? I've used both in the past with two separate networks and no way to pass traffic between them.
