We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our company, Strawberry7. You will be providing on-site IT support to a secondary school in Hounslow in a co-managed IT environment (there is an existing on-site network manager). Hours are a typical school day, with time off during school holidays. There are opportunities to earn overtime during school holidays. This position is available from start of June.

 

Role:

 

· Face to face, onsite IT support, speaking to teachers and admin staff within the schools

· Reviewing and responding in a timely manner to issues reported via support ticket system

· Installation, maintenance and repair of desktops, laptops, servers, network equipment, printers

· Consultation, research, and deployment of relevant software as required by the schools

· Engaging with suppliers of new technologies

· Working with the existing network manager and existing systems

· Understanding requirements of procedure and authorisation within the school environment

· All training and tools will be provided, including a handover period

 

Requirements:

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to regularly speak with schools and companies over the telephone

· Superb organisation skills

· Attention to detail and a methodical nature

· Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check if successful

· Past IT support experience is preferable but not essential
