[1903, au] SIMS Deployment - Moving From W7 to W10

Hi all, again.

 

Doing Windows 10 things again.

 

Have more questions. Again.

 

Today it's SIMS. So, like most I have a SOLUS console full of W7 machines and installing W10 means no agent ofc but a machine still in SOLUS.

 

Has anyone got a decent way of automating that agent onto the newly imaged W10 PCs and getting them to install SIMS, Discover etc?

 

If you do I'd definitely love to nick it!

If you're doing a full site upgrade, any reason you don't just remove them all, and then re-push it out as new clients to the teaching OU etc?

 

There are scripts on here that resolve the issue with deployment and matching IDs etc, but that's normally used for a single rebuild etc where you don't want to keep removing them, but if it's an entire site at once would be easier to remove all
