Removing SIMS ID Tenancy with Office 365

Hello all.

 

I wanted to know if anyone had any past experience with removing SIMS ID (id.sims.co.uk/ Capita) tenancy from Office 365?

If anyone has... did it go smoothly? how long did the process take? Anything I should be wary of?

 

We want users to logon to 0365 directly through office.com rather than id.sims.co.uk. There are also various setup tasks that are easier without a tenancy.

We have done it before. Our setup had the same UPN in Office 365 and AD for accounts. We used UPN matching when setting up the Azure Connector after un-federating.

 

Took around 2 hours for us but we did a lot of prep work before hand like sure email address matched up.
