LGFL Gridstore - full system backup/restore & domain controller support?

Hi,

 

Does LGFL Gridstore allow backing virtual machines and performing a full system restore, how about domain controllers?

 

Or is it still just folder/files?

I got a letter in November last year saying that there was going to be a new version of Gridstore coming soon

 

I emailed someone at LGfL about it and was told that they had almost completed the negotiations on the procurement of the new product and there would be an announcement soon. They also confirmed that the new product would allow you to backup and restore virtual environments.

 

I haven't heard anything since but since then we have had a Christmas break and COVID-19 so it could well be that their priorities changed or the procurement negotiations didn't go well.

I'm sure John will update soon with the info you want, but I know things are underway. I can't post more as I don't know more, but some guys here have had training on the new platform.
