Afternoon, all.

We have users who want to invite users who use Gmail to a Live Event to present. We have guest/external access enabled for our org, but when the external user gets a Live Event invite and attemps to join they're claiming that they're unable to.

Is there any specific requirements in order to be able to do this? My initial thought was a guest account was required in Azure AD, but when a user is invited this doesn't appear to populate; do they need to be invited to a Team or something first so it then creates a guest account on our tenant, and then invite them to a Live Event. Just from testing myself now, it asks me to sign in, I enter my Gmail address, then get sent a MS verification code, that gets approved before then getting an error that I don't have access to the org.

Anyone else having any similar experiences? Inviting an MS account has proven far less painless as expected.

Cheers!

We've been running loads of guest lectures and it all seems to work, we just invite them using the "add members" with their personal email address. Then promote them in the team when they join to presenter manually.
