Google Meet link in Google Classroom missing for Teachers

We are looking at using Google Meet with Year 12 students through Google Classroom. I am the Super Admin for the G Suite domain and If I add my self to a classroom I can see the "Generate Meet Link" option in the Google Classroom. When Teachers log in they cannot see the "Generate Meet Link". I cant see any settings that would prevent them from seeing it.

 

Does anyone know why please?

Never mind! Found that it's to do with the new separate Google Meet settings. Video calling was disabled in there for Staff. It was enabled in the Google Hangouts Meet Settings. Looks like the new settings take priority. Edited June 17, 2020 by fiza
