Hi All,

Trying to do a comparison with another site that may be using the wagent with SBB. We're having an issue with our AD groups not mapping correctly (we're trying to move away from DirSync) and I'm trying to narrow down what may be going on while I wait for support to get back to me.

This is our current wagent service config and was wondering if this matches what others see on their machines (I've anonymised where necessary)

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Netsweeper WorkStation Agent\WAgent.exe" -S -w NSURL -g GUID1 -L GUID2 -s sbb -F -i -l -v -f

TIA

Morning,

That looks more or less correct, you don't overly need the -F

What issues are you actually seeing? Have you prepended the relevant groups in AD with sbb as per the -s

As you are using -f the wagent will log to ~/.Netsweeper Workstation Agent/wagent.log and is normally pretty good at telling you what is wrong (generally scroll right to the bottom)

Thanks,

Morning Rob,

We do have an open support call for this at the moment, just waiting for some responses.

Our agent was switched over to do the Group lookup using SBB but no matter what group I add a user to, clients only get assigned to the default group in NS

I will PM the log file over from one of our clients so you can see what's happening, by all accounts it's finding the group but NS is reporting back the wrong group so I'm not sure what is going on

No worries, we spotted your question here and didnt want to leave you hanging. Can you also drop me the case number in the PM so I can take a look and make sure it is with the correct engineers.

Thanks,
