Remove user from shared mailbox.

Hello all

 

I've just converted a users mailbox in to a shared mailbox.

 

The user is still in Active Directory which i need to delete as the member of staff has left

 

How easy is it to remove the user from the shared mailbox? I get a Active Directory message about it when I try and rename the mailbox.

Need details about your email system? Hosted or on-prem? If on-prem version info etc.

Office 365 Exchange.

I'm assuming AD and Office 355 are synced, have you check mailbox properties in the Exchange Admin Center?
