ive had an idea.

But before i go ahead with it. Is an App better than a mobile optimised website?

The website is just going to be text and links so an app seems a bit over the top

So nothing fancy.

TIA

WEBSITE WEBSITE WEBSITE

I absolutely abhor websites that purposely gimp their capabilities and then tell you to download an app.

If I'm not going to use your service for at least two hours a day, don't make it an app.

And even then I'd still rather you just have a good website that works in my phone's web browser.

The website companies and others that promise an app and then it's just the website in an app, jesus!

I remember I wasn't involved back then but the SLT etc so excited about having an app, sort of burst the bubble when I just went it's the same as the website and loading the website is probably quicker.

Oh, addendum.

Don't make your site ask for my location, to send me notifications, or add a shortcut to the home screen if it detects I'm on my phone. :p

Problem is every site asking for those things after 1 brief visit, I'd like to be able to offer it on, say, the 3rd visit
