Geeky Lockdown Music/Concerts

After having a bit of a chat with @ICTDirect_Dave today we had exchanged a couple of links to real world concerts of game and tv soundtracks and we thought it would be a good idea to share them, as these are whole concerts and a great way to pass the time.

We shall start with the one I told Dave about, the Battlestar Galactic Orchestra lead by Bear McCreary. Mesmerising!

I've been listening to a lot of stuff by a guy called Lukhash. Does a lot of remixes of old 8-bit computer tunes from the 80s! His original material is also great.

 

 

That and a lot of SynthWave/Outrun music to keep from being deafened by the silence

 

 

Also, how awesome is this cover of Castlevania's bloody tears!

 

 

Or how about some orchestral Streetfighter 2 ?

Watching this it's easy to understand how the music managed to convey such emotion.

Violin soloist Paul Cartwright is clearly feeling every single note as if it might be the last one he ever plays.
