aarongulley Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Hi all, This is really starting to bug me now. When visiting a sharepoint site it works perfectly, but when I try to visit example: https://example.sharepoint.com/sites/ I get given a 404 FILE NOT FOUND with the url of https://example.sharepoint.com/sites/_layouts/15/Authenticate.aspx?Source=%2Fsites%2F but any other company sharepoint sites when you type in https://example.sharepoint.com/sites/ it will redirect you to Office 365 login screen. Any thoughts? Thanks Aaron.
thimon Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Shouldn't you have your site name after /sites/ ? Our does. The full address for our SharePoint site is https://EXAMPLE.sharepoint.com/sites/SITENAME/SitePages/Home.aspx
Steve21 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 I take it you do actually have a custom collection setup? I thought /Sites/ only refers it when custom collections are made, so if you don't have any or deleted them it won't actually be there If you look in the admin centre -> sharepoint etc etc does it show there are custom sites/collections? Steve
