southhamster Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 I watched it earlier - well presented and very useful, and a few things to check on our own g-suite setup. Interesting to see the advanced features of the enterprise version, but we can't really justify the extra cost. I'm sure we would have managed with MS instead, but I really like the relative simplicity of g-suite; it has been reasonably straightforward to look after during lockdown, although we do use RM UNify as a front end for SSO.
paulkerton Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 (edited) Interesting to see the advanced features of the enterprise version, but we can't really justify the extra cost. If they keep the costs at the introductory level where its free for students, but a $24 a year cost to the staff members then we could probably afford it. If they charged for students in the future, then no. There's no way we can afford the cost. Edited May 1, 2020 by paulkerton

On a positive note, some of the enterprise features trickle down to to the education version over time, so learning about them in advance can be good preparation.
saggu Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 The webinar was at 10am. If you missed it however, you can re-watch it Thank you. I watched it. Very helpful.
