Hi,

My renewal for Fusemail is coming up and its over £4k per annum which is alot in the current climate so I'm thinking of dumping it and just using the Office 365 filtering.

Anyone done this?

I really like some of the features of Fusemail, like the quarantine emails allowing me to release with ease and the clicksmart facility but not sure its worth it.

I've tinkered with Office 365 and got it to report so its working but not sure its as good as Fusemail.

Any tips would be great.

The benefit with Office 365's mail filtering itself, which isn't best of breed, and more about synergy with the other Microsoft cloud security products. None of them by themselves is a single "best of breed" product, but the whole suite of tools taken together are extremely formidable.

Of course, if you really need to save that £4k and you're prepared to put the effort in, the filtering is probably adequate.

O365 has rules,policies and a quarantine tab.

I haven't yet figure out how to allow senders of external mailing lists domain to be allowed whitelisted per domain.

Powershell is probably needed to fine tune the policies.

And their spam and fish policies are quite sensitive atm.

With no clear answer on how to mitigate legit mails from being flagged as spam or fish from MS.
