stevenmc Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Hello all, We have Minecraft for Education licenses through our Microsoft 365 A3 licenses. Students can download the Windows version and sign-in no problem. The iPad Minecraft for Education however is not allowing them to sign-in. These are their own, personal iPads and not managed by the school in any way. After entering their email address and password, it moves onto a white screen with a progress circle in the middle and sits there. The only option is to cancel. When I check Sign-ins in Azure AD, I can see the status for signing into Minecraft says Interrupted. The error code is 50097 and the failure reason is: Device Authentication Required - DeviceId -DeviceAltSecId claims are null OR no device corresponding to the device identifier exists. Has anyone come across this? I can't see any requirement for the iPads to be managed through Intune. Interestingly, my user account is enabled for Azure MFA and I can sign in on the same iPad once I approve the sign-in request. Hope someone can help. Best wishes, Steven.
