BBC Bitesize resources

Hi,

 

Our Spanish Teacher is trying to use the following resources on BBC Bitesize - BBC - Languages - Spanish - Mi Vida Loca: Real Spanish, Real Drama - Episode 1

 

They work in Internet Explorer but don't seem to work in Chrome on Windows or Mac Devices. All our students have Chromebooks - Any ideas how to get the resources to work in Chrome including on Chromebooks otherwise they are not much use.

Those are all part of the big bbc archive to reduce the amount of stuff they support a while back so are no longer updated

 

They are all flash based, we have a gpo on our pcs to add an exception in place to allow flash to run when on site for Chrome. Chrome on chromebooks most likely have flash blocked since a few versions back, need to check if you can add an excemption

Just be glad it's not realplayer. You could whitelist the site in your gpo chrome settings, but that's not going to help next year

I had a reply back from the BBC this morning about some different bytesize videos. Apparently they are working on it, but it won't be for a good few months.
