Hello all,

Have Windows 10 Professional with latest updates. Using IE 11 and just cannot get the barclays smart card to work via the website. It shows installed fine in device manager, version 6.6. software, but when the user selects 'login' on the barclays.net page, nothing happens. Pop-up blocker is disabled. Trusted sites for barclays are added. All other websites work on IE, but Barclays eventually says "not responding".

Have tried Firefox and the Login button doesn't even show. Are there other settings with Firefox to do ?

It's a nightmare.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks all

Elevated rights for the specific user installation?

And works only with specific browsers?

You can always test it if works with local account..

Which version of Firefox - a proper up-to-date one? There's this thread from a couple of years ago:

We used Firefox 32-bit ESR v52 (now a couple of years older), or possibly v60, although we've moved away from Barclays now so I'm not sure how up-to-date that advice is. Also, from that preious thread, IE in incognito mode (for some reason) might work.
