GSuite and Meet

During the current madness we are about to enable Meet for our pupils. Could anyone advise me how I make it so pupils cannot initiate group meets and only join ones created by staff

In Apps > G Suite > Settings for Google Hangouts > Meet settings, turn "Let users place video and voice calls" OFF.

Also check that you're happy with the external chat settings for your students, if you haven't already done so (Admin > Apps > G Suite > Settings for Google Hangouts > Chat Settings > External Chat Settings).

Are they planning to add a system so pupils can be muted properly and can't kick teachers any time soon?
