ICT NETWORK ENGINEER

DELTA ACADEMIES TRUST, KNOTTINGLEY

 

Hours: 37 hours per week / 5 days per week / Full Time / Permanent

 

Salary: Grade J points 34 – 38 (£36,876 - £40,760)

 

Delta Academies Trust is looking to appoint a an ICT Network Engineer to join the Trust in April 2020 or sooner, to work with the ICT Network Manager on the management, operation, maintenance and development of the IT and networking systems including data, voice and cabling sub-systems to deliver a robust and reliable technical infrastructure for the Trust and associated schools. To develop, maintain and produce documentation and procedures to ensure delivery of a robust, reliable, efficient and effective service which meets the demands of school users. To provide business and technical analysis to propose and implement new ICT solutions for use across the Trust.

 

Delta ICT serves over 50 academies, and 30,000 users utilising 500 Servers and 8,000 domain-joined devices. Internally managed solutions to our academies include MS Hybrid cloud, on-premise centralised Cisco telephony, Meraki and Cisco WAN/LAN, enterprise DR, VPN and remote access.

 

The core team consists of a range of specialist staff who are committed to working alongside colleagues within our academies to ensure that they have the support they need to succeed.
