Deploy Adobe Reader GPO

Trying to deploy adobe reader but the version I get from the distribution page is the 2015 version with an updater- has anyone managed to deploy this?

Download the enterprise version of Reader DC and then get the Customization Wizard to setup a silent MSI based install.

Thats what I did- but it only deploys the 2015 version.

The MSI in the download pack is datestamped 2015, but there's a patch file to go with it that upgrades it to the most recent version. Part of your deployment prep will need to include a step where you slipstream the msp file into the msi.

After that, you'll have an up to date msi file to deploy. Use the Adobe Custimisation tool to generate an MST transform file to go with that new MSI. The MST is what can be used to turn off update checks, cloud options, etc. as you see fit.

However when launching Adobe its saying that it cannot launch in an app container in protected view. Any ideas?

Um, not really, sorry. Is that when launching the Reader app just by itself or when opening a particular PDF document?

Just launching the reader regardless- trying to add a regkey at the moment to see if that helps
