Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Has anyone added InterceptX to there Sophos subscription? I had a quote to have it added to ours and was quoted £3500 for 150 PCs and 8 servers
Wave9_Lee Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 We've done it for lots of customers, yes. Is this an add-on to Endpoint Protection (i.e. it will replace your endpoint protection), or clean add-on to Sophos XG? If you think you're pricing is too high, check that you're being quoted an education price. Also there are price breaks, next one is at 200. Also 3 years term works out at about 30% discount from 12 months (per annum equivalent).
Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 It's an add on to our current endpoint protection which is bundled with our internet connection and various other bits. It's definitely education pricing as our provider only provide to schools
Edu-IT Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 SWGfL charge 5.45 per device for 3 years. So very different to your quote.
Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I'm going to look into changing to ESET, they give 50% discount to schools. For 100 devices there website is quoting £800 for the entire suite, I'm awaiting a quote for all our devices
msm1000 Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 We added Intercept X to our Sophos subscription a few years back and it was not that much. We also looked at Intercept X with EDR when that came out, that did cost thousands more so we passed on the EDR option.
DrCheese Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Has anyone added InterceptX to there Sophos subscription? I had a quote to have it added to ours and was quoted £3500 for 150 PCs and 8 servers I have it around £5k (3years) for 600 clients and 35 servers - So around £1666 per year.
KDW1987 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Only SWGFL customer can get this pricing. This is in the Ts and Cs granted that's not clear on the website
KDW1987 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Eset doesn't offer the same protection as Intercept X. That's a traditional AV solution and is only equal to panda or avast or avg. Its like comparing a BMW to a push bike and saying yea but they both have wheels.
