Jobos Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Several weeks have past since migrating FMS to SQL. Now I want to uninstall SQLAnywhere but there’s nothing in add/remove programs to accomplish this. How do I go about it?
penfold_99 Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I wouldn't recommend it just yet, you might need access to old fms for auditing purposes. Personally i would only think about it after april 2009.
Polski Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Run C:\SQLANY50\WIN32\DBSVMN50.EXE to run the SQL Server Manager console. Then click on "remove". If you want to keep it for the time being, stop and disable it in "Computer Management - Services" Look for "SQL Anywhere - SIMS_SQL_DB_Server"
Jobos Posted May 30, 2008 Author Posted May 30, 2008 Thanks for that. I think I'll just disable it for now and remove it completely later on.
