Which SSD?

Hi All,

Happy New Year and Welcome back.

Can anyone recommend what SSDs I should put in to replace our Fujitsu Sims Server with another server running Server 2016.

The replacement 2 servers are running 2016 ok but on standard SATA discs in raid 5. As these disks are over 6 years old its time to scrap them and put some SSDs in them but which ones?

 

Any budget saving suggestions that could be recommended?

If you really must use budget for server then the cheapest you should ever consider are the samsung enterprise drives. It's just not worth the risk. RAID 1. No need to overcomplicate
